1. Why Saludynam have to be kept refrigerated once opened and consumed in 4 weeks?
Saludynam does not contain any preservatives. We need to keep it in the refrigerator to slow down the rate of deterioration and it is highly recommended to finish consuming in 4 weeks time.
2. What is the serving size of Saludynam?
The serving suggestion for adult is 2 tablespoons (approx. 30ml), consume directly or dilute with water. Juices are best absorbed when consumed before meal.
3. When is the best timing to consume Saludynam?
It is best to be taken at night time (before dinner / before sleep). The calcium and magnesium may help to sleep better, reduce leg cramps, inhibit breakdown of bone at night.
4. Why do pregnant mothers need calcium and magnesium?
During pregnancy, the developing baby needs calcium to build strong bones and teeth while the pregnant mother need magnesium to promote calcium absorption and retention besides prevent muscle cramps and spasms. To ensure sufficient calcium and magnesium intake, choose calcium and magnesium-rich products or food.
5. Why is there more magnesium than calcium in Saludynam?
Magnesium promotes calcium absorption and retention (it is involved in more than 300 biochemical reactions in the body too!) Magnesium deficiency is very common in the West because magnesium is depleted in processed food. The average consumption of calcium is 800mg and the average intake of magnesium is approximately 200mg. By having higher amount of magnesium, it helps to balance the ratio back.
6. Can Saludynam be consumed for long term?
Saludynam is a good source of magnesium and calcium. If one is not able to consume sufficient calcium and magnesium from whole food, they can consume Saludynam as part of their diet to top up the intake. It is suitable for long term consumption for those who have difficulty to achieve daily recommended calcium and magnesium intake from whole food (For example: processed food depleted magnesium, vegetarians and vegans have diet restrictions and are unable to consume calcium from animal products)
